Lindsay Hills Lindsay is a worshipper who longs for the arts to be reclaimed for God's glory, and for them to be used to bring healing to the nations, in particular to young children. She is hungry to see and experience the full sights, sounds and colours of Heaven, to know the heights, depths and breadths of God’s love, and to paint those colours and translate those experiences and encounters onto canvas. Her paintings to date includes a mix of corporate words for Kings Gate, and pictures that the Lord has used to minister to her personally while painting. She is married to Peter Hills, who serves on the worship team at Kings Gate. They both have the same heart to see people released into the fullness that God has for them as children of the King. |

Warrior Bride (April 2010) From the place of intimacy with the Lord will flow streams of living water that will heal our hearts and overflow into healing for those around us and to the nations (Revelation 22) The green spoke to me of going back to a place of face to face relationship that we were made for (Eden), the yellow and orange of His hope and glory breaking through into surrendered hearts. And looking at it I'm reminded of how everything is circular and interlinked, but intimacy with His heart must be at the centre of all. |

Bridal Boots (May 2010) I saw this quote online when researching for this painting, it sums up what was on my heart: "The beautiful bride is also a warrior, and as such, wears army boots into battle.. As the bride, we worship our bridegroom King. As the warrior, we follow the Lord of Hosts, always advancing the Kingdom of our God." (http://herescope.blogspot.com) |

Open Heaven 2011 (January 2011) In a time of corporate worship I saw three fire keys and heard Him say "I have given you the keys...Faith, Hope and Love. The Greatest of these is Love”. I saw golden gates that I knew only intimacy would unlock and was reminded of Psalm 24 ( Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in).·· Through those open gates I saw streams of living water pouring through (Revelation 22). I felt that the gates were opening through the praises of us His people, that the atmosphere of heaven was being released through the fragrance of our worship and thanksgiving. |
