WONDERLAND IN THE COMMON

The Common has lost its autumn glow
And gold given way to brilliant light;
The silent beauty of fresh fallen snow.
A glorious landscape painted in white.
It is now a winter wonderland.
Now gone is the dirt and jarring sight,
The mess around the railway shed.
Thickly blanketed in a quilt of white;
Unsightly grime has been put to bed.
It is now a winter wonderland.
The creator of this wondrous scene
Who turned mess into pure beauty;
My life mess that has always been
Can he even work a wonder in me?
Turn my life into a wonderland scene?

Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;”
Thank you Lord, that however bad, shabby or messy my life might be, there is hope in you. As I come to you, acknowledge and bring before you the things that mess up my life, you can turn my life into something pure and beautiful.
1John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
(NIV)
