December 2010 was the coldest month we've had on record in the UK for 100 years! The average temperature for the whole month was minus one and as you can see from the satelite picture the whole nation was covered in snow. A few years ago one of our members was staying in Latvia and the locals told her that the snow and ice covering the ground in a hard winter purifies the ground and land, bringing deep cleansing. The harvest in the following year is always extremely good.
This nation needs the Lord and the snow was a sign that the fields are white unto harvest. The question is what fields are we called to be in?
This is ENGLAND = "Everyone Needs God Land"
Thomas Hardy commented about the process of gathering the harvest and how, in the olden days before tractors, whole communities would all "muck in" to gather the harvest together, everyone playing their part and there would be much rejoicing! (like Ruth & Boaz) It's not an individual activity! It's a team thing!
"Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest." - Jesus (John 4:35 ESV)
